Made of anti-static and static-dissipating fabric, D-type FIBCs are designed to safely prevent sparks, brush discharges and propagating brush discharges without connecting the FIBC to the ground.

D-type bulk bags, such as Crohmiq™ FIBCs, are made from fabrics containing quasi-conductive yarns that dissipate static electricity into the atmosphere through a safe, low-energy corona discharge. Type D FIBCs safely pack flammable products and handle products in flammable environments.

D-type FIBCs are safe to use: transport flammable powders. When flammable vapors, gases or combustible dusts are present.

Do not use D-type FIBC: when the surface of the FIBC is contaminated or coated with conductive materials such as grease or other flammable and/or combustible materials.
